This is the oddest thing I’ve seen for a while.
A New Zealand publication includes time-lapse video showing a statuette from an Egyptian tomb moving on its own in a clockwise circle. The statuette is in Manchester, England on museum display in the same spot where it has been for many years.
We are told the statuette was originally included in the tomb’s burial chamber specifically to house the soul in case anything should happen to the mummy. It has never moved before. Now it is moving on its own, completing a clockwise rotation in about a week’s time.
Is this a hoax? If not… whatever can it mean? And perhaps more importantly, how is this statuette’s tomb-mate, his mummy, doing anyway?
